Production & Capture

Production, for me, is an act of stewardship. I work with presence and intention to document real moments as they happen — prioritizing rhythm, relationship, and environment over performance or spectacle. This page holds photography, videography, and content captured in collaboration with people and brands, shaped by what’s true in the moment and translated into images and sequences that feel lived-in, honest, and human.

Witness a New Season

Birthdays are small constellations of gesture and light—cake-smudged smiles, the hush before candles, the warmth of hands reaching across a table—and photographing them means preserving the ordinary alchemy that makes a life feel like a story. In framing these moments I aim not for staged perfection but for the honest textures: the laugh lines, the way someone pauses between wishes, the soft spill of late-afternoon sun. Those images become a quiet archive of who we were with and how we loved, a tether back to a single day that, when revisited, reminds us of continuity, presence, and the gentle passage of time.

Witness a Legacy

To know me is to know that I love to thrift. To know me is to know that I used to be a basketball player. To bring those two worlds together and have it end up being a moment of legacy was something I couldn't predict.

Dame is in Richmond, Virginia—my hometown. I remember meeting Dame at a transitional point in my life, a very uncertain point. Our conversations always had God present. I might've come for one thing, wanting to stay for 30 minutes, and end up talking three hours about life, about God. He has just been such a safe space for others. And knowing that he loves being a Jordan fan and respecting who I was as a basketball player at that time in my life—it meant a lot.

I had UNC gear that honestly, I didn't want to keep, but I didn't want to throw away either. I wanted it to be in a safe space where others could enjoy it and be able to see a part of me without really seeing me for real.

The jacket is from my history teacher from high school, Mrs. Anne Canipe—shout out to her. She gave it to me as a graduation gift. It's a crazy vintage piece. I've literally only worn it once, and moving to Florida, it's just not cold enough. But I wanted to leave that behind, as well as my varsity jacket that I got from UNC and a pair of sneakers, just to serve as a reminder for me of where I came from.

Richmond hoops during the years when I was playing was crazy. I think we had some of the top girls in the nation in Virginia. To be able to say that I went to play at a high major D1 school is cool. It was literally placed on my heart to give these items to Dame, especially as a space where he has seen my journey and continues to be a part of my journey.

Dame’s is one of my favorite spots. I just felt that no cooler place to let legacy live than in Dame's. So if you're ever in the area, definitely go check them out and tell them JoJo sent you.

Hustle Team Dreamer’s Co.

I had the opportunity to direct and produce pre-drop content that allowed me to express and use storytelling for a clothing brand.

I enjoyed expressing storytelling through a lens of streetwear, music, and contemporary style, weaving visual narrative with cultural touchstones. I also explored a new, more intentional way to market by focusing on immersive storytelling and emotional connection.

Shot, directed, and produced by me.
